The beautiful life of Marsha Ann Boone came to a close on April 2, 2020 at Authora Care Collective, formerly Hospice of Alamance-Caswell. She was born to James Marshall Boone, Jr. and Carrie Key West Corbett Boone on February 10, 1953 in Alamance County, North Carolina. She was a proud attendee of Jordan-Sellars and subsequently graduated from Walter Williams High School in 1971.

Marsha was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Administration and Planning at Elon University for 35 years and was the on campus advisor for Phi Beta Sigma and Delta Sigma Theta Sororities, Inc. She was a faithful and devoted life long member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ. She served as the President of the Senior Usher's Board, Pastors Assistant Ministry, Missionary Circle #3, sang with the Inspirational Choir and the Hospitality Ministry.

She leaves loving and devoted memories to her daughter: LaKeisha Baldwin; two god-children: Teia Boone and Tierra Boone as well as many other dear and devoted relatives and loving friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded death by a brother, Timothy Boone.
