Jimmie Dale “Jim” Moore, 91, of Amarillo, died Friday, September 25, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 28, 2020 in Llano East Cemetery. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Monday at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jim was born on July 8, 1929 in Pampa, Texas to Winnie and Roy Moore. He grew up in Oklahoma near Elk City. Jim owned the Buffalo Airport in Canyon, Texas. He loved flying and small aircraft. Jim retired from SPS, now known as Xcel Energy, as a lineman after 40+ years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.

He was married to Mildred Moore for over 37 years. She preceded him in death. Jim was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Barbara; brother, Winfrey; and his sister, Nell.

Jim is survived by his sister, Metta Bridges; nephews, James Lusby and wife Betty and Joe Lusby and wife Vickie; niece, Jane Howell; several great-nephews and great-nieces; and other family and friends.
