Funeral Services for Mrs. Odessa Murchison Holder age 97 will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday from the Chapel of Leon Johnson Funeral Home with burial in the New Friendship Cemetery.

Mrs. Holder died Friday morning at the Chester County Health Care in Henderson.

She was born in Madison County daughter of the late E.T. and Madgie Snyder Murchison. She was married to Cecil Holder in 1927 He died in 1978. She was a seamstress for Salant & Salant Shirt Factory for many years and was later employed at Oakley fashions in Jackson until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Park burg Baptist Church in Pinson. Mrs. Holder enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers.

Mrs. Holders is survived by two daughters, Betty Jean Melton, Beech Bluff , Sylvia Spradlin, Luray. Two sons Wendell Holder, Jackson and Joe Holder, Medon. One sister Lillian Sisson, Jackson and one brother Walter Dewitt Murchison, Waco Texas. Eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
