Jack D. Weber

Jack Donald Weber, a real estate agent for 503 Realty in Battle Ground, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Brush Prairie. He was 70.

His wife of 44 years, Emma J., died in 1997. A daughter, Amy, died in 1963.

Mr. Weber was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Ritzville, Wash., and resided in Clark County the past 50 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Susie LeCount of Vancouver, and Beth Tugaw and Lisa Klodt, both of Brush Prairie; one son, Jeff of Battle Ground; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his special friend, Susan Hansen of Battle Ground.

Mr. Weber attended Clark College and Western Washington University.

He worked for Educational Service District 112 for 30 years and owned a woodcraft business, Papa Jacks, for 16 years.

A Coast Guard veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Elim Lutheran Church and the Elks Lodge in Battle Ground. He was an announcer and scorekeeper for girls basketball at Prairie High School.

A graveside service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Elim Cemetery in Brush Prairie, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Battle Ground Baptist Church.

The casket will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.
