DUFF, BENJAMIN C.

Benjamin C. Duff of Enfield, passed away on December 4, 2011. He was born in East Hodgdon, ME on May 1, 1933, the son of Hazel Woodcock Duff and Kenneth Duff. Ben retired from Maple Hill Farms Dairy of Bloomfield after 32 years. For many years Ben enjoyed tractor pulling as a member of the Antique Tractor Club, making many friendships, and was an avid cribbage player.

He is survived by his wife Martha Ford Duff of 60 years, son David and wife Karen of Canton, and their son Zachery and fiance Jenny, Colebrook; son Philip and wife Dove, of San Diego, CA and their sons Morgan, Hayden and daughter Tammy; son Rodney and friend Lynn of Enfield; daughter Jane Deschenes and husband Roy and their sons Steven, Kevin and wife Audrey, and Kyle, Windham, ME; daughter Janet and friends Sally and Marge, Suffield; brother Allen Duff of Litteton, ME, sisters Donna Tracy, of Houlton ME and Marilyn Kraft, Pacific Grove, CA, many nieces and nephews, friends Lynda, Becky and Heather. He was predeceased by brothers Philip, Arnold, Willis, and sister Evelyn.

The family wants to express their gratitude and sincere thanks to the staff at St. Frances Hospital and Blair Manor for the support and care given to Ben and Family. A celebration of Ben's life will be held on Saturday, December 10 from 1-4 p.m. at 136 Green jamManor Road, Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 175 Ammon Drive Suite 201, Manchester NH 03103. Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels is caring for the arrangements.
