Billy Joe Graham, Sr., 72, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born August 27, 1948 in Welch, WV, Billy was a son of the late Joseph and Bethel Mitchem Graham. He was a retired coal miner with 30 years of service and was a member of the UMWA. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Graham; brother, Floyd Graham; and sister, Shirley Graham.
Those left to cherish Billy’s memory are his daughters, Stephanie Graham Music and husband, Jeffery, of Skygusty, WV, Linda Dempsey and husband, Bobby of Skygusty, WV; son, Billy Graham, Jr. and wife, Amanda, of Pageton, WV; Companion, Tammy Dye and her two children Thomas and Kateland Dye of the home; three grandchildren, Jospeh Lemaster and wife, Paige, of Mt. Alto, WV, Justin Lemaster and wife, Kristen, of Skygusty, WV, and Ava Shumate; two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Jaxon Lemaster and one great-grandchild on the way.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Flint Redwine officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
