Beatrice Lorene Wilson Woods was born on May 27, 1929, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willie Wilson and Cora Hampton Wilson Moore. She was united in marriage to Burgan Woods, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, Brenda Woods Hutchinson of Cookeville, Tennessee, Delane Woods and fiancé’, Charlotte, of East Bernstadt, and Newton Doan of Aurora, Illinois, two sisters, Faye Robinson of East Bernstadt and Yvonne Wheeler of McMinnville, Tennessee, one grandchild, Wendy Gaumont (Brandon), one great-grandchild, Collin Gaumont, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by four siblings, Enoch Moore, Marie Owens, Jerry Moore and Denny Moore, a son-in-law, Bill Hutchinson, and one great-grandchild, Cody Thompson.
She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith.
Beatrice Lorene Wilson Woods departed this life at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, being 91 years, 3 months and 27 days of age.
Funeral services for Beatrice Lorene Wilson Woods will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Lady and Denny McCowan officiating. Burial will follow in the Combs Cemetery at East Bernstadt.
