Funeral services for Jimmy "Chad" Chadrick Day, 52, are scheduled for Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darryl Howard and Rev. Jimmy Dale Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a visitation Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Craddock Funeral Home. Chad was born August 28, 1962 in Ardmore to Jimmy L. and Carolyn Sue (Holbrook) Day. He passed this life April 23, 2015 in Chickasha, OK. He and Karen Taylor where married in Gainesville, TX on September 1, 1995. He was a graduate of Dickson High School and was employed by Nalco-Champion Co. as an Oil Well Chemical Treater. He had also worked 25 years for Michelin Tire Co. While working at Carter County District 2, Chad had many fond memories of the employees there. Chad loved being outdoors whether playing, working or just spending time with his family, he just enjoyed being outside. Chad was a member of the Country Tabernacle Church. He is survived by his wife, Karen of the home; Three children, Amber Glover and her husband Gary of Dickson, Aaron Day and his fiancé Tammie of Lone Grove and Ashlynn Day of the Home.; Grandsons, Landon and Logan Glover; His parents, Jimmy L. Day and Carolyn Sue (Holbrook) Day; two brothers, Tim Day and his wife Elaine of Ardmore and Jason Day of Tulsa, OK; In-laws, George and Laquita Taylor, Kirk and Lisa Woods, Gaylon and Sherri Taylor; and many nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Day and his grandparents, Ida and Claude Day and Elmer and Hilda Holbrook, uncle, Clarence (Son) Day and Cousin Dewayne Payne, Cousin Janet Ramsey, Aunt Claudine Payne, Aunt Barbara Bussell, Uncle, Jerry Holbrook and Beloved Cousin, Jeff Holbrook Serving as Pallbearers will be Mark Holbrook, David Stewart, Ken Day, Larry Reed, Tommy Joe Holbrook, Jacob Williamson and Elmer (Eric) Gerald Bussell. Honorary Bearers will be Dickie Charles Howard, Todd Collett, Gene Bussell, Lee Juengermann, Durward Wood, Marvin Wood and Micheal Scarduzio.
