Mrs. Alice Dow Dies At Daughters Home In Rochester, Friday Mrs. Alice Dow, 65, died at the home of her daughter in Rochester, Friday, August 30, following an illness of three weeks. Born in Piper City, HL, September 6, 1880, she was the 'daughter of John and Martha Brown. Her early life was spent in North Dakota where she received her education. On February 24, 1904, she was mar. Tied to Robert Dow at Cooperstown, N. D. The couple spent most of their married life in Canada. Six years ago Mrs T Dow moved to Rochester where she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Russell Dobson, Until the time of her death. Mr. Dow had preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Rochester Congregational church. The body was in state at the Schuette funeral home in Burlington until, the time of the services. Burial was in the Burlington cemetery. Surviving Mrs Dow are six children; Maitland Dow, Iron Mountain, Mich. ; Ray Dow, Waskeda, Manitoba, Canada; Murray Dow. Burlington; Mrs. L. J. Kilmury, Killarney, Manitoba," Canada; Mrs Charles Kilmury, Kenosha; and Mrs, Russell Hobson, Rochester, a brother, Harry Brown of South Dakota; and 15 grandchildren' also survive. A twin brother preceded Mrs Dow in death in April of this year. .
