Connie Jean Burns, 64 years old, passed away on September 18, 2020 in Albuquerque, NM.
Connie was born in Carlsbad, NM to Sam and Helen Houston.
Connie graduated from Rio Grande High School. Connie married Robert Lee Burns Jr. on December 10, 1977 in Albuquerque, NM. Connie was a homemaker to her children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
Connie enjoyed cooking, sewing and delivering food for Grubhub in her spare time.
Connie was preceded in death by her mother, father, grandmothers, grandfathers, husband and uncle.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Rebecca García and Jennifer Chávez, grandchildren, Delilah, Savannah and Courtney and her great-grandson, Gabriel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God with Pastor Cynthia Eggers officiating. It will be a closed casket service. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God with Pastor Cynthia Eggers officiating. Burial will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Savannah Chávez, Elijah Chávez, Anthony Miller, Manny González, Archie Houston and Tommy Houston. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Burns, Billy Burns and Steve Schumann.
The family of Connie wishes to extend sincere thanks to the paramedics who cared for her in her last moments.
