Melvin Davis Adams, 54 ,of Cordele died at his residence Friday, July 27, 2007. A native of Dooly County, he was born Sunday, February 1, 1953 and was the son of the late Edgar Davis and Emma Jane Grantham Adams. He was a maintenance supervisor for OMI Water Treatment.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Eloise; three daughters, Amy, Pamula and Sylvia; two step-sons, Walter and Danny; two step-daughters, Ida and Eloise; a brother and his wife, Daniel and Sherrie; and two sisters and their husbands, Shirley and Mike, and Joyce and David.
