Steven Andrew Freeman, age 23, of Griffin, Georgia passed
away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Steven was born in Thomaston, Georgia on January 1, 1995. Steven lived a life full of loyalty, love, joy and compassion. He was a friend to everyone, especially if that friend loved fishing and hunting. He had a heart of gold, a bounce in his step, and a sweet Southern drawl. Steven showed his love for you through his belly laughs, big smiles, bear hugs, deer meat, always being there for you, and making you feel you were the only other person in the world. He was never afraid to tell you "I Love You". Our lives were better having been a part of his. Steven was everything to us, and so much more.
He was survived by his mother, Jennifer Grubbs Freeman; father, Troy Freeman; brother, Blake Freeman; maternal grandparents, Jim & Elaine Grubbs, paternal grandmother, Mona Holmes; aunts, uncles, cousins, his bonus-dad
Chris Walker and bonus-siblings, numerous extended
family, friends and "The Crew".
A visitation was held for Steven on Saturday evening
August 4th, Immediately following visitation, a funeral
service was held in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral
Home. Dr. Benny Tate, of Rock Springs Church officiated.
