Timothy was born June 2, 1953 in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Jemima Jordan and is survived by his sister Martha Jordan of Pittsburgh, PA, his aunt Barbara Ann Grieg of Virginia, and various cousins.

Tim recently retired after a well-respected, successful, and dedicated career at Vining Sparks in Memphis. He considered himself fortunate to enjoy each and every day and devoted his time to his work. Tim was always reading and aspired to learn more, which was an inspiration to all those around him. He was eager to engage in conversation about world news, technology, Tiger Basketball, and cars, and wouldn’t turn down a game of pool. He was known by his loving family, close friends, and treasured coworkers to always be considerate, loyal, and a genuine southern gentleman ready to lend a helping hand. Tim brought true happiness and comfort to others through his kindness, and the wonderful memories he left behind will be forever cherished.

Services will be private due to COVID-19.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
