Sandi graduated from Sylmar High School in 1970. Her brother, Marty, introduced Sandi to Tony in 1979, and they were married 1983. Sandi and Tony soon became foster parents, taking in more than 40 infants and young children over an 11-year period. Sandi was never happier than when she was holding a baby in her arms. Sandi and Tony lived in California until 1990. They made their new home in Las Vegas, where she enjoyed riding her personal watercraft at Lake Mead and house boating on Shasta Lake.
Her hobbies were making blankets by hand which were crafted personally for each individual from infant to adult. Creating arts and crafts of all kinds was her love. Sandi was an employee of Citibank for 24 years and made lifelong friendships at work. She was easy to talk to, a good listener and an excellent story teller. Sandi was also a great advisor in matters important to her friends and family. There will be celebration of Sandi's life at noon Monday, Aug. 18, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Family and friends are welcome to share stories about Sandi's life.
Sandi will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. "Sandra, you will remain in our hearts forever and always."
