Graveside services for Mrs. Nancy Haynes Richardson, age 82, will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 24, 2020, at the Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Wayne Raines officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Mrs. Richardson was born on January 12, 1938 to Romie Melvin and Nora Viola King Haynes in Springhill, LA and passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in Springhill, LA. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, enjoyed working in her yard, her home, and loved spending time with her family. She was retired as a secretary at Springhill High School.
She is survived by a son, Gregory Phillip (Tammie) Richardson of Springhill, LA; five grandchildren, Zac (Courtney), Lacee Kelsh Brooks, Kayla Budwah (Heath), Jade Brown (Ross), Hailey Simmons (Gene); great-grandchildren, Kason, Henley, Jaxon, Brynlee, Levi, Luke and Saylor; a brother, Earl Thomas (Gene) Haynes, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents, father of her children, Phillip Richardson, daughter, LeAnn Richardson Kelsh, sister, Rubye Carroll, and a brother, Elvie Haynes.
Pallbearers will be Zac Kelsh, Kason Kelsh, Ross Brown, Heath Budwah, Gene Simmons and Steve Haynes.
