PARKS - Ronald D. Sr., 61, Johnstown, passed away September 21, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 20, 1959; the son of Donald M. Parks, Sr. and Wilma J. (Hensel) Parks. Deceased family members include his parents; wife, Karen Kay (Mangus) Parks; brother, Chester Frank Parks; sister, Arlene Joy Parks, daughter, Bonnie Jean Parks; grandchildren, Annamae Cassick and Harry Lingenfelter, IV. Survived by children Annamarie, wife of Harry Wesley Lingenfelter III; Katherine, wife of Frank Cassick, Jr.; Laura, (Sam McAdams) Parks; and Ronald Parks Jr.; and grandchildren, Cheyenne and David Lingenfelter, Mary, Lily and Frank Cassick III. Brother of Don Parks, Jr. and wife Sheila; John W. Parks; Virginia Parks and Darlene Parks. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He adored his grandchildren, his past time was spent talking on the CB radio (Sundance),working on cars and listening to country music. He loved joking and being social with everyone he came in contact with and attending church. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday. Pastor Josiah Smith, officiating.
