Norma Jean Ward, age 83 of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born on September 12, 1937 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Mabel (Ott) Writesman. She passed away on September 21, 2020 in Guthrie.
Norma lived in Guthrie most of her life and enjoyed reading.
Survivors include daughter Pam Headlee of Norman, son Greg Breeden of Guthrie, son Douglas Straats of New Braunfels, Texas, son Jeff Ward Sr. and wife Rhonda of Guthrie, daughter-in-law Kara Dickey of Wichita Falls, Texas, sister Linda Gilmore of Jenks, 14 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Mabel Writesman, son Shane Dickey, brother Gordon Writesman, and companion Dean Coffy.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Summit View Cemetery with Jacob Story officiating.
