Vine S. Palmer.
The body of Vine S. Palmer, who died in Kansas City, Mo., on Saturday, May, 7, 1921, arrived in Norwich on Wednesday.
Mr. Palmer left Norwich for the west about two weeks ago and shortly after his arrival there contracted pneumonia which caused his death.
He was born in Westerly, R. I. on May 28, 1893, the son of Louis N. B. and Helen Stetson Palmer.
He was a grandson of the late Vine S. Stetson.
When a boy he came to Norwich where he attended the public schools and the Norwich Business college. He also resided in Preston for several years and also in Hanover, where he was united in marriage with Miss Grace Ablard on April 22, 1920.
He was a mémber of the Central Baptist church where he was greatly interested in the work of the church.
He is survived by his wife, parents and one brother, Fred Palmer of Westerly, R.I.
