Kevin Kyner Blythe graduated from Billings West High School in 1983 and attended the University of Wyoming, where he was on the dean's honor roll for two years.
An outdoor sportsman, he enjoyed rock climbing, skiing, camping, fishing, hunting, and scuba diving.
He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, enjoyed children and people, and had numerous pets.
Mr. Blythe, 19, of 4640 Rimrock Road, died early Sunday morning of a gunshot wound. He was born in Billings, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Blythe.
He is survived by his parents; sister Leslie of Laramie, Wyoming; brother Scott of the family home; grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Everett G. Blythe of Billings, and Mrs. L.M. Kyner of Leon, Iowa.
Cremation is planned.
