Mr. Don Mills, age 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Mr. Mills was born on February 3, 1945 in Loris, SC, to the late Oscar Corbett and Leila Suggs Mills. He was also predeceased by his two brothers, Lloyd Mills and Corbett Mills. Mr. Mills worked as carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Gary Mills of Whiteville, NC; two daughters, Donna Sellers and husband, Stevie of Chadbourn, NC, and Kelly Bryson of Whiteville, NC; the children’s mother, Priscilla Norris Mills of Whiteville, NC; four grandchildren, Matthew Sellers, Jessica Sellers, Brinley Bryson, and Laikyn Bryson; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Sellers and Barbara Grace Sellers; two brothers, Thomas Ray Mills of Longs, SC and Junior Mills of Thomasville, NC; two sisters, Viriginia Stevens Blanton of Longs, SC and Pauline Edgerton of Colorado; and a special friend, Coleen Long.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mack Hutson, Rev. Charles Cribb, and Rev. Terry Green. Committal services will be held at Myrtle Green Cemetery.
