Obituary for Linda Harper
Linda Harper, 73, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2020, at her home in Orange.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, on November 14, 1946, she was the daughter of Lee Otis Coleman and Laverne Coleman. Linda worked as an accountant for many years. She was an adventurous woman who found great joy in being outdoors. Linda especially loved camping, tubing on the Guadalupe River, and spending time at Canyon Lake. She was her happiest when she was in New Braunfels, Linda’s favorite place in the world. When she was at home, she could be found loving on her seven dogs, who were her babies, and watching her soaps and reality tv. Above all else, Linda loved being a mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren who affectionately refer to her as their “Maw Maw Linda.” She was a shining light in the lives of all who knew and loved her, and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Laverne Coleman.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Ancelot and husband Larry of Orange, Michael Harper of Wisconsin, Pam Bowman and husband Anthony of Little Cypress, and Tim Harper of Sugarland; her grandchildren, Shelby Wickersham, Kelsey Ancelot, Kaylee Ancelot, Maddie Harper, Bubba Harper, and Sydney Bowman; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
