David Franklin Riddle, age 70, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
David was born the son of Vernon and Betty (Hess) Riddle on January 20, 1950 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He received a degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. He also studied criminal justice at the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Missouri. David was united in marriage to Meble Eitel on February 12, 1971, in Galt, Missouri. She survives of the home. He served in the United States Army from December 1970 until June 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Riddle of the home; three sons, James Riddle of Chillicothe, Missouri, Shawn Riddle of McDonough, Georgia, and Scott Riddle and wife Robin of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Shvonna Armstrong of Milan, Missouri; three grandchildren, Harley Riddle, Airon Riddle and Natosha Riddle; four great grandchildren, Hayden Stephenson, Layla Riddle, Stanley Riddle, and Maci Stephenson; and three brothers, Danny Riddle and wife Diane of Michigan, George Riddle and wife Jane of Massachusetts, and Richard Riddle and wife Mimi of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at Haseville Cemetery, Haseville, Missouri, on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation.
