MANSFIELD: Mrs. Luella Julia Davis went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 20th 2020. She was 88.
She was born November 6, 1931 in Brownsville, Tennessee to Madison & Anna Halliburton.
She is survived by two daughters Sheila (Bernard) Jackson of Jacksonville, NC, Stephanie (Willie) Griffin of Blue Springs, MO; one son Keith (Yvonne) Davis of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren Kendal (Amanda) and Aldan Jackson, Elizabeth and Hannah Griffin and Marquis Peterson; eight great grandchildren Abel J. Jackson, Kieran R. Jackson, Lawrence Jones, Lance Jones, Logan Jones, Amillia Coburn, Adrian Peterson, and Ava Peterson, along with a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents Madison & Anna Halliburton; her husband Leo Davis; and four sisters Elizabeth Johnson, Mary Lewis, Maggie, and Edith Halliburton; and a granddaughter Deirdre Jones.
A graveside funeral service celebrating Luella’s life will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Mansfield Cemetery with Minister Richard Scott Dunn officiating. The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
