Funeral services for Mrs. Kimberly Rebecca Wright will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at New Hope Baptist Church, Calcasieu, with Reverend Rob McLane officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Calcasieu, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Wright, 58, of Calcasieu, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.
Kimberly was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milburn and Ella Townley and one daughter, Nicole Renee Wright.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two daughters, Rebecca Wright and her companion Jaryd of Boyce and Rachel Wright and her companion, Brandon of Calcasieu; one brother, Edwin Townley and his wife, Audrey of Elmer; and three grandchildren, Dillon Wright, Sierra Gonsalez, and Brooklyn Gonsalez.
