Memorial services for Mary Carolyn Oxford Chaney, 77, of Alba, are scheduled for 11a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Wilson Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Chaplain Robert Stovall officiating.

Mrs. Chaney passed away September 19, 2020, in Winnsboro. She was born July 26, 1943, in Grand Saline, to A.G. and Johnnie Fern Williams Oxford. On June 8, 1960, she married Don Chaney in Quitman. Mary lived most of her life in Alba and was a member of the Wood County Master Gardeners. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of thirty years, Don Chaney; grandson, Ryder Chaney; brother, Joe Oxford; two sisters, Nancy Bowles and Virginia Kessel.

Survivors include three sons, Bobby Chaney and wife Annette of Alba, Johnny Chaney and wife Cheryl of Quitman, and Tommy Chaney and wife Glenda of Quitman; sister, Wanda Trusty and husband Mick of Sulphur Springs; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
