William Roy Hobbs, 79, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, September 13, 2020 in Ash Flat, Arkansas. William was born February 21, 1941 to William Logan Hobbs and Nellie (Adams) Hobbs in Owensboro, Kentucky.
William spent his working years as a car salesman and was a car enthusiast. William was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. William was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Ash Flat, Arkansas.
William leaves to mourn his passing, daughter, Amanda Hobbs of Fisher, Illinois; three sons, Randy William Hobbs and David Lore Hobbs both of Ash Flat, Arkansas, and Joe Allen Hobbs and wife Donna of Mahomet, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Reva Cox; six brothers, Mike Hobbs and wife Tammy, John D. Hobbs and wife Lynn, Roger Hobbs, Ernie Hobbs, Danny Hobbs and Bob Hobbs; many other relatives and friends. William is preceded in death by his parents, two sons (Greg Hobbs and Glen David Hobbs), daughter (Ruth Ann Hobbs), three brothers (Don, Dale and Jim), and sister (Betty Young).
Memorial services will be Friday, 2:00 PM, September 18, 2020 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Ash Flat, Arkansas with Bro. Henry Parker officiating. Memorials may be made to FNBC to a memorial fund for William Hobbs. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
