Clinton Harrod Yates, age 79 of Rome, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020.

He was born on April 8, 1941, to the late Comer Brown Yates and the late Gladys Harrod Yates.

Mr. Yates attended and graduated from The University of Georgia in 1963. He retired from the Air Force as a Lieutenant Coronel and was reserved at Dobbins Air Force Base.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Decator Dunagan of Jefferson and Rebecca Alyson and Dennis Mahony of Lilburn; one son, Clinton Harrod Yates, II of Jefferson; one sister and brother-in-law, Deloris Yates Michael and Roy of Bremen; four grandchildren Decator, Katherine, and Wyatt Dunagan and Jadyn Mahony; one nephew and niece-in-law, William D. (Bill) Heath and Susan of Bremen; two nieces and a nephew-in-law, Sandra Heath Taylor of LaGrange and Carol Heath Files and Tim of Bremen; several great nieces and great nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, from Veal Community Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Reverend William Heath officiating.
