Cumberland, MD – Jacqueline Jean (Fleek) Collins, 83, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born March 22, 1937, in Wellersburg, PA, Mrs. Collins was the daughter of the late Enoch Fleek and Marion (Smith) McClaughlin.
She was also preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth E. Collins: her sister: Barbara Shanholtz; her brothers: Doug Fleek, Ronnie Fleek, and Roger McClaughlin; her daughter: Terri Collins; her son: Larry Collins; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Jacqueline was formerly employed at Hills Department Store and was fond of selling Avon products. She was a member of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene, and a lifelong member of Bowman’s Addition Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary.
Jacqueline is survived by her son: Richard W. Collins; her grandchildren: Matthew Collins; Michael Collins and wife, Dia; and Angie McLeod and husband, William; her great grandchildren: Faith and Liliana Collins; William and Emma McLeod.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Monday, September 21, 2020, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend David Dayhoff officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
