Jerry A. Newman, 74, of Omaha, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Jerry was born on July 18, 1946 in Springfield, Missouri to Marvin and Linda Newman. He was a retired construction/ masonry worker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Algerene Sims Newman of Omaha, Texas; one son, Jerry Newman, Jr. of Washington State, and a host of family and friends. He was loved by many and missed by all that knew him.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial to follow in the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home for family and friends to view and sign the registry.
