Hunter Don Jackson, born August 6, 1998, took his last breath and left this world to be with our Lord and Savior June 6, 2020.
Hunter graduated from Wylie High in 2017 and went on to attend Stephen F. Austin State University since 2017 with major in sports business. He was member of Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at SFA where he was a fundraising chair and served on the judicial board.
Hunter is survived by his parents, Monica and Derek Miller of Farmersville, TX and Toby and Michelle Jackson of Justin, TX. Hunter also had an abundance of siblings, including sisters Callan “C.J.” and Samantha Salsberry, Alex Miller, and Lauren and Dani Jackson. Brothers Dustin West and Hargrove (Tiffany). His grandparents “Papa Pete” and “Granny” Kay Guinn of Canton, TX, and Vickie “Mimi” Jackson of Corinth, great grandmother Vonda “Grandma in the country” Shipman of Rising Star, TX, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, and his German Shepherd “Koa”.
He is preceded in death by two grandfathers, Billy Don Jackson “Pas” and Tony Molloy “Papa Tony”.
Hunter Don Jackson will be greatly missed. The family asks that instead of being sorrowful, we all celebrate the life of Hunter. This is not goodbye, one day we will all meet again and Heaven will have it’s loudest “WOOoooo”!
There was a viewing on Wednesday June 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, 508 Masters Ave., Wylie, TX. The funeral was held on Thursday June 11 at noon at the Gateway Community Church. A graveside service followed the church service and was held at the Lakeview Cemetery in Lavon, Tx.
