Richard "Doc" L Ulmer 76 of St Louis passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at his home with family.
Richard was born October 21, 1943 to Friedhold and Geneice (Meyer) Ulmer in Geneva, NE. Richard attended school in Sutton, NE graduating in 1961. He went on to the University of Nebraska Lincoln to continue his education graduating in 1973 with a PhD in agronomy. In 1974, Richard started working for Anheuser-Busch. He retired from there in 2009. On April 1, 1967 Richard was united in marriage to Beverly K Refior. They were blessed with two children, David T and Mairi.
Richard is survived by his wife Beverly (B) of St Louis, son David T Ulmer of St Louis, daughter Mairi (Tim) Scharf of Belton, MO, 5 grandchildren Zachary (Kaitlin), Christian, Jireh, Anna, Susan and a great-granddaughter Brooklyn; sister Marilyn (Ron) Bohling; brother Eugene (Cindy) Ulmer and other family members and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Friday, September 18, from 4 p.m. until time of service 6 p.m. with services concluding at Kutis.
