An adoring husband and a wonderful father; Robert was born in Columbus, GA; served in the U.S. Navy and was an Auburn man. He spent most of his career as a technical engineer until he retired and began working for Cherokee County School District, where he was loved by his students. His hobby of model trains brought him great joy and he spent well over 30 years building an impressive lot in the basement of his Woodstock home. He never met a stranger and his smile could light up a room. He will be greatly missed but always remembered. “I am in no hurry to die, but there are a lot of good people waiting on me on the other side” “I do not fear death, death is inevitable, living is hard.” Wise words from a great man.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Prescott, daughter, Diane Prescott, son in law, James Triplett, daughter, Kimberly Hartis, son, Christopher Prescott, stepson, James Fama, 4 grandkids, and 2 great grandkids.
