07/31/1927-07/21/2016 Macy was the youngest daughter of George A. and Mae M. (Johnson) Folmar. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence P. Taylor, two sisters (Sibyl F. Summerlin, Hulda F. Gibson) and brother (Richard A. Folmar). She was born and raised in Luverne, Crenshaw Co., Alabama. After graduation from Luverne High School and attending Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University), she resided in Montgomery until moving to High Springs, FL in June 2015.
Macy is survived by her nieces, Linda S. Crim (Roger) of San Diego, CA, and Chris Summerlin (Layne Schultetus) of O'Brien, FL, and nephew, Tim A. Gibson (Karen) of Newport Beach, CA; grand-nephews, Lee D. Crim of Huntingdon Beach, CA and R. Michael Crim of Point Loma, CA, and grand-niece, Shanna L. Easterday of North Port, FL, 3 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces, cousins and friends.
A memorial service, conducted by Dr. Karl Stegall of 1st United Methodist Church, Montgomery, where she was a member and Dr. Lester Spencer of St. James United Methodist Church will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the chapel at 1st United Methodist, Montgomery, and her ashes will be interred at Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery.
