Mrs. Smoak was born on August 8, 1933, in Coffee County, Georgia to the late Johnnie and Rebecca Pearl Barrow Lott. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Newton. Daisy worked with Wal-Mart Inc. until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking for everyone and working in her flower gardens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Fletcher D. Smoak; one sister, Floyce Day; and four brothers, Johnnie Lott, George Lott, Benjamin Lott, and Jerry Lott.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Kuykendall of Madison, Alabama; two sons, Fletcher D. Smoak, Jr. (Barbara) of Dothan, Alabama, Steven Smoak (Karen) of Daleville, Alabama; grandchildren, Stacy Boucher, Amber Beagles, Timothy Kuykendall, Zachary Smoak, and Nicholas Smoak; four sisters, Mary Buckner, Gail Young, Corine Glyzinski and Diane Stephen; three brothers, Elisha Lott, J. H. Lott and Mellard Lott. Four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews also survive.
