Helen Bernice Wright was blessed to be with us for 101 years, 2 months, and 2 days. She was born February 12, 1921 in Lima, Ohio and passed away April 14, 2022. In October of 1938 she married Robert Wright who preceded her in death. She then married Don Gawn, who also preceded her in death. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many over the years.

She loved fashion, establishing and managing the Women's Dept. in several Sears Dept. Stores. She retired from Sears in the Lima Mall. After retirement she belonged to several card clubs, playing Bridge, Euchre and Pinochle. One of her true loves was her flower gardens. Her backyard won awards with the Men's Garden Club. Helen also enjoyed holding garage sales. Once she joined the Lima Manor family, she would not miss Bingo, activities or playing Kings on the Corner with her friend, Barbara.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert (Diana) Wright of Mansfield, OH and James K. (friend Ellie) Wright of Odessa, FL; three grandchildren: Bradley (SonHui) Wright, Alison (Kevin) Hager and Greg Wright; five great-grandchildren: Jennifer, Katherine, Christina, Rachel and Logan; one great-great-grandchild, Caelan; brother, Robert (Janet) Schneider; sister-in-law, Martha Schneider.
