Kathleen "Katie" Denise Green, age 30, of Hooks, Texas, died Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
Katie was born December 3, 1989, in Texarkana, Texas. She loved makeup, decorating and cooking, but also had an outdoor side and enjoyed fishing and camping. Katie enjoyed spending time with her children and her nieces and nephews most of all.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William Murchison; and grandparents, Rudolph Cranfill, Margie Yount, John Green and Rosie McConnell.
Survivors include two children, Celeste Pickings and Christian Green; her father and step-mother, Donnie and Missy Green of Hooks; her mother and step-father, Patricia and Dennis Murchison of Leary; her grandmother, Cora Green of Hooks; three sisters, Koreen Dobbs and husband, Ross of Hooks, Melissa Murchison of Arkansas and Tabitha Murchison of Texarkana; two brothers, Mark Rich of Hooks and Derrick Murchison of Tennessee; nieces, Karina Dobbs, Jasmine Rich and nephews, Ian an Brody Dobbs and Tyler Rich; many other nieces and a nephew and many friends.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 21,2020, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Augustin Alaniz and Ross Dobbs officiating. Burial is under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
