Helen M. Ferrell, 89, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Welch, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020, in Temple Terrace, Florida.
She was born January 27, 1931 in Welch to John and Cordelia (Harlan) Cravens. She was united in marriage to Donald G. Ferrell on April 19, 1949. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Vicky Langley; three grandchildren, Amber Favorite, Brandy (Nathan) Maki, and Courtney Langley; three beloved great grandchildren, Bradyn Favorite, Madison Favorite, and Caleb Collins, all of Orlando, Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Helen lived a long life and was loved by everyone she encountered. She was known for her kindness, immaculate housekeeping, and unconditional love for her family. She especially enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen worked for, and retired from, Cinch in Vinita, Oklahoma where she was loved by all.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Welch Cemetery.
Family members will serve as casket bearers.
