He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving from December 21, 1967 until August 27, 1973.
Howard had an inquisitive mind and liked to know how things worked; especially anything electronic. He was always taking things apart and tinkering. He was a caring and joyful friend.
He is survived by his lifelong friend, Tom Edle of Danville; and many acquaintances and friends from over the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
