He was born on June 23, 1939 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Ada (Fixin) McCoy and Lee McCoy and passed away on September 16, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to Linda (Proctor) MCoy on February 10, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. McCoy was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam War and worked in maintenance at Holley Carburetor.
Survivors are:
wife: Linda of the home;
3 daughters: Pam Cravatt of Tahlequah, OK, Melissa McCoy of Sallisaw, OK and Patricia Fields of Sallisaw, OK;
1 son: Keith McCoy of Sallisaw, OK;
5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren;
3 brothers: Calvin McCoy of Tahlequah, OK, George McCoy Sallisaw, OK and Marvin McCoy and Helena of Marble City, OK;
several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
