Raymond Dale Gibson, 60, of Barton, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Dale was born September 25, 1959 in Helena, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Christine Gibson. He is survived by his brother, Terry (Shelly) Gibson of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Dale graduated from Barton High School and attended classes at the former Phillips County Community College. At a young age, Dale spent his time rebuilding lawn mowers before advancing on to motorcycles and boats and finally automobiles. Dale worked for the West Helena Water Department and several local auto shops where he made a name for himself as an outstanding auto mechanic.

A move to Batesville, Arkansas led him to a brief stint working on heavy equipment
before coming back to Poplar Grove to open Gibson's Garage. There he practiced his skill at overhauling transmissions and various engine work for many. Through the years, Dale enjoyed many hobbies including drag racing, hunting and fishing, His many talents brought him many friends and he will be missed by all.
