Michael Augustine Hannon, of St. Charles, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Born August 28, 1931 in Owermore, Ower, County Galway Ireland. He immigrated to the United States in 1960 to marry his wife Margaret. They were married for fifty-three years.

Mr. Hannon is survived by his sons: Michael, Patrick (Gayla), Timothy (Tammy), Robert (Caroline) and Thomas (Cari) Hannon, daughter: Christine Baker, brothers: Patrick (Bernadette) and Eugene (Ita) Hannon, grandchildren: Kenny (Amanda),Justin (Stephanie), Mackenzie, Braden, Conner and Katelyn and great-grandchildren: Makynna, Benjamin, Eyvee, Layla and Karly. Mike was a cousin, uncle, great uncle and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, parents John and Mary Hannon and brother John Hannon.

Mike dedicated 48 years of his life to Saint Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles serving as cemetery sexton among numerous other duties. He served in this role until his death.
