Patsy was a member of the Blackfork Freewill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for the small children and sang in the choir. She worked for Jackson County Head Start for many years.
She is survived in death by her daughter, Cheryl (Randy) Bowles of Mt. Perry, Ohio; granddaughter, Amanda (Matt) Fountain of Roseville, Ohio; great-granddaughter, Lauren Fountain of Roseville, Ohio; three sisters: Melba Boggs and Sandy (Jay) Potter of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Bonnie (Robert) Kuhn of Ridgeville, Indiana; one brother, David (Dollie) Snyder of Albany, Indiana; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers: Carl Jr., Robert, John, Dan, and Billy (infant); four sisters: Hazel McCoy, Shirley “Peg” Adkins, Donna Adkins, and Madeline (infant).
She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2020 from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask while indoors and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
