Mrs. Guy Whitmore Dies At Notch Road Home
Mrs. Marion Whitmore, 40, wife of Guy Whitmore, died this morning at her home on the Notch road following an illness of only a few days.
She was born in Ripton, Vt., but had resided in Adams for the past 20 years. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal church and was a woman who was industrious, energetic, devoted to her home and family and respected as a good neighbor and loyal friend.
Besides her husband she is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Ada V. Grogan, Warren C., Guy R., Margaret C., Marion A., Robert V., Richard V., Albert R., Donald M. and Lucille C. Whitmore, all of Adams; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bernard of Adams, one sister, Mrs. John Barrows of Hartford, Ct., and one grandchild in Adams.
The body is at the McBride funeral home on Liberty street. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
