He is predeceased in death by his parents; grandparents, Paul Oliver and Ella Matt Callis Douglas and Willie and Ruth Duncan; daughter, Charity Taylor; wives, Michelle Douglas and Lorraine Douglas.
He is survived by wife, Penny; sister, Brenda L. Herbaugh; brothers, David E. Douglas and Ronald A. Douglas; daughters, Missy, Angela and Rebecca; son, Shane and wife, Judi Douglas; grandsons, Stephen, Ray, Alex and Wesley; Granddaughters, Destanie and husband, Michael Denny and Kayla; sons-in-law, Vince Waller and Mike Weiher and granddaughters, Newnayely and Serenity.
Stephen grew up on the family farm west of Centerton and attended school in Bentonville Arkansas through the 9th grade after which he lived and attended school in Johnstown, New York. He worked for a time at Union Carbide. He was a long-distance truck driver for many years. He later became a Benton County Road Supervisor and retired in 2012. His family will miss him very much.
Outside Memorial will be held on Wednesday, June 24 at 1:00 pm at the old Gene Douglas homestead 3/8 mile North on Fishback from Mt Olive Road. In Lieu of Flowers, please donate to local animal shelters.
