Omaha police say Justin Chris Hart, 43, was the motorcyclist who died Wednesday night near 140th and West Center Road. Hart was wearing a DOT approved helmet, police say.

The Nissan fled northbound from the crash scene," a press release said.Numerous witnesses gave officers a description of the vehicle and driver. In the Harvey Oaks subdivision, near 151st and Shirley streets, neighbors directed officers to the location of Malone. Police then took him into custody.
Malone "appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He was transported to Douglas County Corrections where an drug evaluation was conducted which indicated impairment," a press release said.

MAN CHARGED IN BIKER'S DEATH
Omaha - A Douglas County prosecutor has charged a 59-year-old Omaha man with felony motor vehicle homicide and other counts in the Wednesday death of a motorcyclist.
County Attorney Don Klein says that Kevin Malone turned on a red light at an Omaha intersection on Wednesday hitting 43-year-old Justin Hart, who had the right of way.
Police say Malone then fled the scene and was latter found by officers who determined that Malone was under the influence.
Court documents show Maline was connived of DUI in 2010, 2012, and 2014 and had a suspended driver's license when the accident happened.
