ELKHART- Christopher L. Carter, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Monday September 14, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 14, 1961 in Elkhart to Sterling & Willastyne (Shelton) Carter.

Left to cherish is memory are are 2 sons, Dominique Carter and Noah Carter both of South Bend, IN; his mother Willastyne Carter of Elkhart; a sister Kimberly Carter of Los Angeles, CA and a cousin who was like a brother to him, Ralph (Dawn) Humes of Three Rivers, MI. He was preceded in death by his father Sterling Carter.

Christopher enjoyed kayaking, being outdoors, camping, watching cooking shows on TV and grilling out. He also was an avid Notre Dame fan. Christopher was the manager of the shipping and receiving department at Ricon Corporation in Elkhart.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11-12 Saturday September 19, 2020 at the Omega Event Center, 2130 Middlebury Street, Elkhart, IN. Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday at the Omega Center. Rev. Derrick Rollerson and Rev. Tony Bennet will preside and burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Cancer Resources of Elkhart County, 23971 US-33, Elkhart, IN 46517. Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
