Mr. James Calvin Stanford, Jr., 47, Rt. 5, Athens, passed away at 6 a.m. Monday at his residence. Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. in the Spry Funeral Homes & Chapel with James Bridges directing. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Greta P. Stanford; one daughter, Mrs. Donnie Sledge; four sons, Mr. James Randy Stanford, Mr. Barry Lynn Stanford, Mr. Donnie Ray Stanford, and Mr. Todd Roger Stanford; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Ethel G. Stanford; and one sister, Mrs. Guy Carter, all of Athens.
Mr. Stanford was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ.
