Funeral services for Apostle Anthony Pittman, 56, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 1 PM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, 600 East Mary Street in Dublin. Pastor Kin Clark will officiate. Public viewing will be on Friday, 1-7 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Apostle Anthony Pittman was born in Dexter, Georgia, on May 15, 1964, to Ulysses Pittman, Sr., and Doris Queen Pittman. He was the pastor of Sunhill Baptist Church of Cadwell, Georgia, and a minister under Benny Hinn Ministries.

In obedience to his call, Apostle Pittman pastored and ministered for 27 years. He was mandated by the unction of the holy spirit to perform signs, wonders, and miracles within his healing and deliverance ministry. Apostle Pittman was humbled in the acts of God in calling him the spiritual name of “Moshe” as one of many which God had commissioned to call to the nations. His commitment and dedication was to live a righteous and holy life in God which provoked the ministry and others to the desires of the Lord. He was a leader of great honor, compassion, kindness, love, and high esteem that demonstrated: Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

He graduated from West Laurens High School in 1982 and completed an intensive doctoral level program from Benny Hinn Ministries in 2018.

Apostle Pittman transitioned on Sunday, September 13, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife, First Lady Malissia Pittman.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons, Anthony Pittman, Jr., Elijah Pittman, and daughter, Elisa Pittman, his parents, Ulysses Pittman, Sr., and Doris Queen Pittman, his siblings, James (Vernell) Pittman, Reverend Dr. Brenda (Laron) Charleston, Ulysses (Sandra) Pittman, Jr., Jerome (Gloria) Pittman, Kenneth (Sherry) Pittman, Lisa (Jameson) Trawick, Jamie (Shawanda) Pittman, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
