Mrs. Emma Prindle Odekirk, 78, a resident of the Town of Eden, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday at her home.
She was born at Wyocena, Wis., on Aug. 15, 1891, a daughter of Martin and Effee Sears Prindle. She was married to Irving J. Odekirk on Sept. 2, 1915.
Mrs. Odekirk moved to the Town of Osceola with her parents at the age of 10. She was a charter member of the Friendly Neighbors Club, Eden.
Surviving are her widower; one son, Irving Jr., of the Town of Eden; three daughters, Miss Eunice Odekirk of Madison, Mrs. Robert Anderson and Mrs. Leonard Birkholz, both of the Town of Eden; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Olive McIntire of Truth and Consequences, N. M., and Mrs. Edith Griswold of Lynwood, Calif.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Methodist Church, Campbellsport, with the Rev. Clifford Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of services.
