Virginia L. “Sue” Corbett
Virginia L. “Sue” Corbett, age 70 of Richwood died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her home. She was born March 15, 1941 in McAndrews, Kentucky to the late Frederick and Lassie (Williamson) Ball. On April 17, 1959 she married Charles Corbett and he survives.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading. Sue was a loving mother and wife who always took care of her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles Dean (Sally) Corbett, Bellevue; a daughter, Phyllis (Sam) Speyer, Garner, North Carolina; a sister, Polly (Don) Brown, Huntington, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Allison P. Corbett, Samantha K. Corbett and Madison B. Speyer.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl Dean, George, Wendall and Arthur Ball; and two sisters, Jean Pinson and Thelma Amos.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 20, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Joe Rhea officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 5:00.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation, 2545 Farmers Drive, Suite 300, Columbus, OH 43235.
